Staff very friendly. Bedrooms good and roomy. Food good.
I was very disappointed that the heated towel rail did not work in our bathroom so the room had a damp smell from our wet clothes. However when I did bring it to the attention of the housekeeper she gave us a plug in heater for our bedroom. Could get this sorted.

Excellent location, good leisure facilities and spa and super breakfast.
Breakfast buffet was cleared at 10:30am sharp. We arrived in the dining room at 10am and were asked to wait for a table which took approx 10 minutes. By the time we were getting our full breakfast the staff were already clearing away the food and we were unable to get the full breakfast. Perhaps it would be an idea to clear away the food after everyone who arrived by 10:30 has eaten. Having said this the breakfast on the other days was great, so get up early if you want to take time over your breakfast!.

They have a gym/pool onsite which is free to use during your stay. Parking is also free.
The bed was old and uncomfortable. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and despite making a reservation, we waited for about 15 minutes before anyone approached the table. The service continued to be poor throughout the meal, and one of the meals wasn't cooked properly, despite the expensive prices.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable.
The rooms and furniture are very dated and need desperately to be modernized. The dividing doors in the corridors make a thumping noise when closed and I was woken very early both mornings by the banging of these doors. The shower takes 5 minutes to heat up, on the wash hand basin the hot tap wouldn't turn off and the pressure in the cold was very weak. Originally picked the Radisson Blu but changed at the last minute, should have stuck to my original decision.

Its location in a lovely area for walking nd so close to golf course
The only problem i had with your fine hotel was the saftey of the showers no mat provied in bath or on bathroom floor,i had a very bad experince on going to take a shower on saturday evening after returing from playing golf i sliped on entering the bath and badly bruised my ribes and cut my elbo stil in a lot of discomfort maybe it would be worth taking a look at this issue thank you
