Orange Hotel

The Hotel is set back from the street and is no more than a ten minute walk from the Vatican. You can easily walk to other sites such as the Pizza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc. By shuttle it is a about a 45 minute drive to the airport. There are some stairs up to the reception area, then a lift to the upper floors. Has A/C. Breakfast is on the top floor and there is a lovely terrance to sit out on. European breakfast had lots of choices. We found the lighting in the room poor as the celings were very high. The grey and black pattern carpet was not overly clean. Our check out was delayed due to staff change over at 8am. From what I gather some proceedure required them to do some type of computer tally after the night shift ended and before the day shift began. Therefore, they could not check us out until after this was done. There is a reasonable fee for internet use. One computer in the lobby. There was a safe in the wardrobe and a minifridge. Have a great paper map of Rome and all the attractions available.

I and my husband stay in Orange hotel and we realy enjoy it. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. Very nice and funky hotel, close to Vatican, many shops, metro. We like everything about the hotel, and we will consider staing at this hotel again.
