The staff from housekeeping were helpful and obliging. The rooms were clean and well appointed.
The reception staff were appalling. We arrived with a tour group and stayed an extra 3 nights before heading to K.L. The staff were bad to the point that they would just ignore you if you were at the counter. They would talk to each other and others around but not make eye contact or any type of recognision that you were standing there. Every time I had to ask for attention. The hotel was busy, but it is an Internatinal Hotel and there were plenty of staff, just not well trained ones. Having travelled throughout Europe and knowing how the GEC has affected a lot of businesses I would have thought they would be bending over backwards to secure their jobs and giving exceptional customer service. After all it is the customers that pay the wages!
