It is near the Vatican but needs a metro or taxi ride to the other attractions. A very typical Roman hotel with a very comfortable bed.

It had a Jacuzzi bath which was very high to get in to. Plus it only had a hand shower unit. Bathrooms need upgrading.

Near Vatican. Rooms accommodating 3 adults. Priced reasonably.

Difficult to get luggage in and out due to location of door and stairs and small elevator, but it at least had an elevator! And the bellman took care of our very heavy luggage from the street to the room, so no problem.

It was convenient to be so close to Vatican City.

The online photos of this hotel are a gross misrepresentation. The "rooftop restaurant" pictured is at a different hotel, a couple blocks away and was shut down during our entire stay. In addition, we asked for extra pillows the first night and were told by the front desk that we couldn't have any because it was too late (11pm). We got pillows the next morning. There was no coffee or coffee maker in the room and the hotel did not provide any complimentary coffee whatsoever. The hotel also has no irons or ironing boards. I find this outrageous! Finally, during the check out procedure, we were given a bill that included charges/taxes applicable to 4-5star hotels. I objected to the charges and it turned out that I just had to sign a form stating that I refused to pay. Clearly, the hotel is collecting money from unsuspecting people who may not realize their right to refuse. And categorizing the Atlante Garden Hotel as a 4-5 star facility is laughable!

LOCATION AND TREATMENT OF STAFF

It is close to everything in the Vatican and good restaurants and shopping. Easy to get everywhere in Rome as well by cab or mass transit nearby.

There could have been a better selection of food for breakfast

It was withing walking distance of everything.

The fact that you have to ask them to replace the soaps..
