Main reason for choosing Hotel Continental: Location
Hotel Continental in Reggio di Calabria is perfectly clean, well furnished, well located, easy to find and the receptionists are friendly. English is limited in this neck of the woods, but it is sufficient. The breakfast is ‘continental’ in style and good. We would stay here again. We recommend it.
We had a lovely view of the Strait of Messina with Mt. Etna smouldering in the background, her slopes glistening white. The view directly below the window was indicative of much of the city. The room was perfectly quiet, clean and had all standard amenities.
We arrived in RC by train and walked the 2 km. along the lovely waterfront to the hotel. It is located 1 min. walk from the Messina ferry and 10 min. walk to the Magna Graecia National Museum--the main reason for our visit.
