One word describes it very acurately : terrible.

The room was dirty, breakfast was terrible, the room cleaner didn't even bother to empty an ashtray, she just "made the beds", though it sucked also, overcrowded elevators - sometimes it takes some ten minutes to reach your floor, got a wallet stolen from the LOCKED room, lots of noisy teens.
