We have been staying at the Dom Joao for several years in May and October, the only disappointment was when we couldn't stay there last May (due to refurbishment). My only comment was that I noticed a torn/worn hand towel two days before leaving and was surprised that the linen had not been re-newed when you re-opened. Otherwise I will been booking again for our May trip and hope everything is up to scratch!
