Sao Miguel Park Hotel

The restaurant staff were excellent but clearly working excessively long hours with late night finishes due to guests dining for hours past the closure time in the restaurant. The same staff had then to be up very early for the breakfasts, they were hard working and caring, but were having a very poor working life as a result. All other department eg Bar, Swimming pool, Gym etc stated there opening and closing times and kept to it, as we would all expect, yet there were no dining room rules??? As a doctor i feel the staff there will run into health problems if a sensible decision to set closing times is not taken. Guests will happily abide such rules. I have travelled the world and stayed in many thousands of hotels, everywhere the dining room open and closing times are set. It should also occur at Sao Miuel Park Say 23:00hrs all guests must leave. Otherwise the room can not be cleaned and will become a night club. This is to the detriment of your dedicated staff. Could this be attended to, as i was going to right to the manager about this. I hear you tend to dismiss staff easily, rather deal with issues. In the UK this would be viewed as poor leadership, and doesn't resolve issues.I am sure that if the managers own son or daughter were working there, action would be taken once they noticed the excessive extra hours they are all working. i hope this will happen quickly!

Good quality hotel, new, clean and well kept. Spacey room with own balcony! Good breakfast.

Positive view in relation to any service provided by the hotel.

Modern european hotel with a good access to trafic. good parking place for hire cars.
