A most lovely place with great 'atmosphere'. Spacious with big rooms and circulation space. It has a 'fin de siecle' feel - that's the 19th century we're thinking of! Please do NOT modernise but maybe up grade the lighting in the rooms a little.

I particularly enjoy the antique furnishings and ambience and the antiquity of the hotel itself. It is like living in a museum. I have stayed at the Royal Victoria several times. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The location is right on the river, near colleges and also close to the Garibaldi square. Young people congregate and party rather late, so it can be noisy. However, the moon light on the river and the reflections of the city lights make a beautiful sight.

Such a beautiful old building overlooking a stunning part of Pisa. Felt the history of the place when we were there, very Italian with its fantastic ceilings .

De ligging, het gebouw zelf is prachtig!!! het uitgebreide ontbijt was heerlijk!
De kamer die wij hadden, prive badkamer, double room was vrij klein, de badkamer ook mini maar prima op zich. lawaai van buiten als je t raam open deed, vooral op zaterdagnacht.

I have to say this is one of the loveliest hotels i have ever stayed in. For the price it is fantastic, a real piece of Italian history. The rooms are gorgeous - paintings on the ceilings! We are already planning to go back next year. A must for any couple wanting a bit of romance.
