I had expected something else. I personaly found that the bedroom looked outdated.
Plus, I had sent an email saying that it was my wedding night. We could have expected a gesture, even smal one which could mean that the staff readen my email and for instance put a few flowers on the bed or a very smal bottle of champ.
If I were the Staff manager I would have done that.
Otherwise, it was OK.

The hotel is modern and recently renovated
I forgot a book in my room after 4 nights. to return, they asked me € 32.10. I think it's quite excessive and abnormal.

The hotel is very modern and clean, within walking distance to the Bercy Village which has some great restaurants. The only negative point to this hotel was the breakfast, although adequate you could not have an alternative to the cooked breakfast,ie an omelette instead of a full (english) breakfast unless you paid extra, having already paid for a breakfast I objected to paying again.
