Literary Hotel Le Swann, BW Premier Collection

The staff was friendly and alwasy helpful. They kept a basket on the counter of green apples of which I partook daily. While not not totally fluent in english thye certainly knew way more English than I will ever know of French and were great at helping with my bungled attempts. The area is wonderful small shops, a laundry, several excellent restaurant at a resonable price, a loverly bakery and smalle grocery; we picnicked several times. With in walking distance of anyhting major in France. I hate to brag on them too much becasue they will be full the next time I want to go back. I always try to stay in this area.

The rooms are microscopic, but typical of Paris inner city. The bed was the old fashion hard matress that still seems typical of Europe as a whole. I went during early spring for the first time and the rooms are kept very warm. For some this would be great, for me the indiviual control is a god send and the ability to open the window and let in cool air perfect. The bathroom was small but not the smallest I have seen, the one drawback was an odor from the bathroom in the night, must keep the door shut and crack the window. A result I guess of very old pluming.

La posicion es muy buena para ver todo lo que es interesante, el desayuno muy bueno, en general todo.

Breakfast is included and the current state NOT worth 13 Euro!
