The staffl were uniformly helpful; in many cases, they went out of their way to be of assistance. For instance, when my wife and I asked about buses into the centre of town (the Politeama in Palermo) one desk staff offered us a book of her own tickets. Whether iit had to do with meals (excellent combination of breakfast buffet and individual service), information, use of internet facilities, we were always well taken care of.
My only suggestion has to do with the shuttle service to the airport-or should I say, the lack of it. I seemed to recall on the website last Feb., when I checked out the services, that there was a shuttle. Now, the only option is to book a taxi. Even here there is some confusion. When I asked the price, I was told it would be 40 Euros to the airport; it turned out to be 45 Euros, and since we left before 5:00 a.m. the driver told us it was 55 Euros. A clearer explanation regarding transportation should be available; it would be even better if a less expensive option were available.

The staff is better prepared: I was never able to explain why I was not given a receipt. For the internet I waited for an hour someone would bring the parameters in order to make access to the server.

Nothing except the price.
Poor cleaning of the rooms, rooms to be restored. Characters less reassuring front of the entrance. In my opinion is not 'even counted among the four stars as old and obsolete.
