Sehr nette Menschen, Nähe von "Il Santo" und dem Zentrum der Stadt, Möglichkeit von Internet,
Orientierung im Haus schwierig wegen nicht eindeutiger Nummerierung der Zimmer in den Zwischengeschossen.

Centrally placed, good facilities, reasonably priced. Newly renovated, quiet rooms, especially those with windows toward the internal courtyard.
The hotel cannot be reached by ordinary car (cars need a special permit for the historical centre as far as I saw). We had trouble getting driven to the hotel by friends with their cars, and had to walk some distance with heavy packages. Taxis can drive you right to the door, though. There is a shared refrigerator in the TV room for use by guests (which is a plus) but small, old, very crowded inside and not so clean when we used it. Perhaps a small refrigerator in each corridor would be a better idea.

The hotel is opposite the Basilica di Sant'Antonio, a centre of pilgrimage, and is within walking distance of the City’s other major attractions. We had a superior room, large and with a view of the Basilica. The hotel reflects the style of the 1960s with tiled floors and shower trays surrounded by curtains: it has been well maintained, is scrupulously clean and rooms are serviced to a high standard. The staff are most helpful, well informed and polite. The restaurant is separately run: the hotel sells 5 Euro breakfast tickets which are good value although the coffee was not to our taste.
The evening catering seems to be directed towards coach tour parties and there are a number of alternative tourist and local restaurants and pizzerias in the area that may provide a more pleasing experience.

Main reason for choosing Hotel Casa del Pellegrino: Location
I like the hotel because it is quiet and relaxing, there is no traffic, I love the fact that it's across the road from the Basilica of S. Antonio so the view is beautifull. I chose to stay in the Casa del Pellegrino because it has a restaurant where you can have a complete and good meal with good service for reasonable prices, which is extremely usefull and comfortable because you don't have to walk around the city looking for a place to eat and usually spending more than you planned. The hotel is in the centre and therefore near to everything a tourist wants to see.
The only thing that was missing in the room was a small refrigerator, I would have appreciated very much to be able have a fresh drink in the room in the evening.
