A friendly, helpful receptionist,quiet, comfortable room and excellent breakfast,convenient location.

We liked the bedroom, food was wonderful and it was close to a park and ride system

Every thing was very nice and suited me very well

We had a good nights sleep despite initial misgivings about the amount of stags at the hotel.

Long queues at checking in and was told by the only staff member on reception that the hotel only had a skeleton staff at weekends. This would have been useful to know before booking. Hotel corridors were somewhat shabby. I'm sure Holiday Inn could afford an update considering the high prices charged for a mediocre hotel set on a busy roundabout.

The fact that the hotel had trouble activating our booking and tried to charge us when payment had already been made to you. Though this was probably your fault Eurobooking and not holiday Inn.

The bedroom although well appointed, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. As a result i slept badly and was tired in the morning. I would therefore not recommend this hotel until this problem has been suitably addressed

I have a major issue with you over your charge connecting to the internet. I paid up assuming it would give me access to movies for free, as some other chains do. To find that you want another £7.95 to download a film was even more annoying. Your staff say this is because your internet provider charges so much - I find this very hard to believe; it's much more likely that you are treating this like hotels treat their alcohol - a short cut to profit. To make matters worse, you have no reduction in charge for a short usages of the internet - an hour would have been fine. I wouldn't mind paying £1 for an hour - though, as in the USA, I would expect it to be free. Your paper-thin walls meant that the noisy people in the room next door disturbed me until midnight. The food portion was small given the price.
