Always a very civilized experience at this hotel. Lovely decor in reception. Good value at the bar. Tea and coffee in room very welcome, not usual in France. Also great to see U.K. Union flag still there, along with the Tricoleur and the European emblem. Hope it is still the case when I visit next year.

Makes one very welcome, especially the tea/coffee in room which I am sure most English visitors appreciate. Generally well stocked bar - but/
/almost no beer available.

Enjoyed very much. Only exception being The Romantic Package. Champagne didn't arrive for when we asked and no chocolates.we had to ask twice and then finally got them when we checked out. Never mind. we had a great holiday.

Generally we were very pleased with our stay at The Massena, but it was very difficult to read in bed, because of the light, which was very poor and it would have been nice if there had been a noneslippery matt in the bath! Thats was all!!

The breakfast was excellent
