The concierge staff was particularly family-friendly, helpful, and quite skilled at recommending an appropriate local restaurant. Both staff we met were very engaging, welcoming and respectful with us starting at the front door.
We were not as warmly welcomed by some of the other staff at the hotel and found the patronage in the pool to be quite rude, which affected our enjoyment of the hotel, its surroundings and the facilities. This hotel is more appropriate for older adults; the environment is somewhat austere and overall it is not a particularly family-friendly or 'youthful' destination.
