Main reason for choosing Armada Hotel: Location

The staff was wonderful. When I mentioned in conversation that the room we just checked into smelled of smoke the waitress in the bar immediately took it upon her self to go report this to the front desk. We aired out the room and it was not an issue but she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I also remarked to my husband when we were checking out that I had left my camera on - the woman on the desk immediately offered to plug my camera on and recharge it while we had breakfast. Again, above and beyond. The hotel itself was lovely, in fact, I heard my friend take in her breath when she first opened the door to her room - it was that nice. The food in the pub and at breakfast was top rate and we found traditional music in a pub in town and this was on a Wednesday night in February! There is nothing, nothing they could have done to improve our stay.

Excellent location - right beside the beach. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Shower was excellent! food very tasty.
It would be good if there was a swimming pool. Also the lift access is a bit hidden/not easy to find (especially if you are in one of the rooms furthest away from them).

It was a very pleasant experience. It was convenient for our needs which was its location to Dunbeg where we attended a wedding.
If we had to have dinner in the hotel we felt it a little pricey

It's great place to stay, very comfortable, with beautiful beach just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Very nice stay indeed.
There wasn't free internet access for hotel quests and only one PC in a very crowded public area.

Everything! this hotel is perfect for a break away,i couldn't fault it. everything from the staff,rooms,food just perfect. we were there for a wedding but we'll be going back for a weekend in the summer. its location is perfect,overlooking the beach. i always check the reviews before i book anywhere,so i can only say go for it, you wont be dissapointed.

My mother and myself spent two nights at the Armada, we were attending a family wedding. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the location was spot on, and we were very lucky with the weather. The hotel was very peaceful even with the large wedding. I would hope to return at a later date.

Hotel is in a beautiful location it's just a pity the weather wasn't a bit better when we were there.

We were attending a wedding reception. Staff were all friendly and food was excellent.

At first when we checked in our room had no bed there was tables and chairs in our room..a conference had taken place the day before.. the room was not changed back on our arrival!! but we ended up getin a suite a beautiful room. we cudnt ask for a better room!! the location was unbelieveable beautiful!! We had the best stay ever and will definately be coming back again!! just one comment against Armada I think you might have been under staffed ... we had to wait for a while to order drinks.. I think on the Tuesday night the one guy was running the show including reception. But overall I was extremely happy with our stay. Thanks looking forward to staying in Armada again.. and I will definate recommend ye to my friends

That ye didnt really have a resident bar.. we had to go to our room to order drinks on the tuesday night and when we went to our room to ring reception there was no answer........................ not good at all
