Besides the friendliness, the immediate running of the hot water. In certain hotels, when showering, one has to wait awhile before the tap hot water is received, yours was almost immediate.
I do believe the public bar area is looking a "little tired" - maybe a revamp with new decor and chairs should be placed on the next financial budget.

Nothing
That was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. To come unfriendly staff, location in a unsafe area with public transportation and no way to Miami. The only option was an expensive taxi or bus, which is however more than 2 hours on the road.

Clean and tidy. Helpful staff.
The swimming pool and spa didn't open until 10 am at weekends. Breakfast was too expensive to even contemplate.

Staff very friendly, very fine restaurant.
Waiting for the elevator to an eternity. Preliminary visit by the hairs on the bathroom floor and toilet. Bed mattress was saggy, sleep very uncomfortable bed has geknarzt with every movement.
