Dream Castle Hotel

LOCATION

FOOD WAS AWFUL PARTICULARLY THE EVENING BUFFET THE MEATS WERE DRY TOUGH AND GENERALY INEDIBLE I HAVE HAD A FAR SUPERIOR MEAL AT McDONALDS, THE SYSTEM FOR BUYING PASSES IS WEIRD IN THAT ONLY ONE CHECK IN COUNTER SELLS PASSES SO ONE JOINS THE LINE TO BUY ONLY TO BE TOLD "NO THE PASSES ARE SOLD AT THE OTHER COUNTER" SO YOU JOIN ANOTHER LINE AND WASTE HALF AN HOUR

Lovely clean hotel with wonderful surroundings. Location couldn't be better close to Disney but far enough from the hustle and bustle to be able to enjoy a relaxing time in between outings. A walk by the lake is recommended.

In this day and age I feel that free wi-fi should be available in all areas of the hotel - especially in the rooms. Some variation during breakfast would have been welcomed also seeing that if you spend 5 days having the same would at the end become boring.

Transportation to/from Disneyland & Train Station. Location & environment.

Although the price for the rooms was convenient, the price for other services such as the restaurants was very high. Same applies for the cleaningness. The room was clean, but the common parts (toilets, outside tables) were not.

WLAN I did not get to work, even though I asked for help from the personnel. A big minus!

I found the reception staff to be extremely helpful with my needs and enquiries. The hotel itself is very nice and is a real part of the Disneyland experience with it's themes and decorations. The location was also very good and very easy to get to just a few minutes by the complimentary transfer - the 54 bus from the bus station.

The only thing that let this down, which I presume was a mis-communication between staff as I never received an explanation when I asked the cleaning staff, was that on my day of checkout, my room was cleaned and prepared for the next visitors before I actually checked out and therefore when I returned to my room after breakfast to have a quick shower, I could not and I also found that my bag with my last minute things had been removed from my room and taken to the cleaning supervisor. I found this to be a bit disturbing and upsetting and it did take the shine off, especially as I had a big day of travelling ahead of me. The items I had placed in the in-room safe were still there and I got my bag back fairly quickly once I reported that this had occurred, but by that time, I didn't have time to do any of the things I had wanted to do before departing the hotel.

Hotel very clean, a grand reception by a quality staff.

The bins outside all of which were full and therefore were a lot of garbage on the floor beside them, not very pleasant to see and quite dirty.

Clean, near the park equipment.

The quality of the dinner is really not the height, very bad value for money, this is not acceptable in a hotel of this type, 0 points.

The bus servcio and find that despite some distance from the park reached quickly. Maybe increase the number of buses that pass more frequently.

Actually I have been only two days and I have enjoyed the facilities as I would have liked but I saw them and seemed correct. Me on children in the jacuzzi but clearly was in Disneyland.
