The staff was amazing, helping us get to our football game and around Madrid. They put us in an attic suite, which was very nicely appointed with lovely design detail. The location was great, with walking access to must-see tourism sites, like the Palza Payor and the Royal Palace, and easy metro access for things slightly further away, such as the Reina Sofia museum.
The room, while very nice, was starting to be a bit dated, with some peeling paint and a small hole in the bathroom sink. But overall, it was not a major detractor.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The location was excellent and although we did not take dinner at the hotel, the beakfast venue and menu were very good.
