The staff was very nice and the location was great!
We lost power several times. Anytime I took a shower the power blew, and we didn't have anything plugged in. It took several minutes to get power back on. There was a new concierge that was not able to help us much and the one night we wanted pizza as room service, the person didn't know how to make it. Also, you had to pay for internet access in the main lobby.

Picked hotel based on price but the location couldn't have been better perfect spot for a quick London turn around visit, can see all the highlights within an easy walk.

The room was comfortable and very clean,its location is ideal.I would recommend it to my friends.
The activation of the fire alarm on two occasions one at 4.30 in the morning and one at 21.30 in the evening,was most annoying to say the least,with a super over loud siren in the bedroom,I know it is necessary for safety,however would it not be possible as is done in other hotels to give an intermittent alarm at a much lower noise level first until the room that activated the alarm was investigated,and if necessary activate a full alarm.

The staff at the Thistle Hotel was very friendly. But the Thistle Piccadilly is never a 4 star hotel, at least not was I am used to. The location was located ideally to the city center.

Friendly and helpful staff, specially during a certain misfortune happened to me / Very comfortable bed
Hotel rate as a 4 star hotel is not what I saw. Room was to small for 2 persons, wardrobe was full with blankets, towels and pillows and we hardly could hang our clothes in it. There was also no room for other clothes which needn't to be hang up.

This hotel is in a superb location a couple of minutes walk from Leceister Square, Trafalgar Square, theatre, restaurants and the underground. The staff were friendly. The general temperature of the hotel was too high, the room facilities tired and old, no gym, minimal bar and I paid £175 per night which was too much for this standard hotel.

Great location. Helpful and courteous staff. Very nice room. Would have liked to have a small fridge in the room though. Otherwise just great.

Lack of fridge in room.
