I like the louby of the hotel and the breakfast also the location of the hotel is amazing , the staff is friendly i love this hotel , this is my 5th stay in that hotel
The water supply in the room like sink its very old english style cant mix the water u will get vey hot water or very cold the toiletsneed to be changed and the rooms are old furnishedneed to be re furnished the furniture also at the breakfast restaurant is very old

The hotel has been a "favourite place to stay" in London for quite a few years. The location for shopping, theatre, and site seeing is superb. Highly reccomended!
Be warned, on a big check out day, say a Saturday and Sunday morning, waiting for a lift to take you either up or down can be a pain! However, a small tip, sometimes it is quicker to take the lift going up to get down!

Mini Fridge in the room without drinks except for two water bottles. The smells from the kitchen came to the room - do not know if the air conditioning system if the plumbing in the bathroom.

The scalator going up to the Hotel, it's the second time we found it not working. It is Also very Expensive compared to other hotels.

We have stayed at the Thistle before and enjoyed the experiance a great deal so much so thatw when we decided to attend the theatre and stay over night, the Thistle hotel was our first choice.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, the hotel is superb and the room is everything we want when we stay at a hotel.

The Hotel got a very nice view on Oxfor Street in Cenral London, which considered valuble in price rates, as well as very good management built. However some workers skills need to be improved.

On arrival the hotel had a power cut, which lasted several hours and meant a delayed check-in. In the morning there was no hot water, I had to fill the bath with kettlefulls which took ages and meant I was late for breakfast. Breakfast food wasn't hot enough. I asked a member of staff where I could leave my overnight bag whilst I attended a conference at the hotel. She sent me down in the lift to a storeroom, which I never found, but wasted time looking for. She should have told me I could leave my bag with my coat at the check-in for the event.

The opportunity to do some shopping.
The queues for breakfast were unacceptably long. The hot water situation.
