The location of the hotel. Cannot comment on the food as we did not eat at the hotel. We thought the price of the breakfast rather high at £18.95.

I didn't stay in the hotel for long as I went out to a dinner. Generally the rooms are comfortable, with good views from the windows.
It was very irritating to be hassled at 0845 by 'housekeeping' who also went along the whole corridor (loudly) knocking on all of the doors. The lift capacity is under a lot of pressure between 0900 and 0945.

AIRCON NOT VERY EFFICIENT (WINDOWS DID NOT OPEN EITHER) AFTER UPGRADING TO ROOM WITH VIEW OF TOWER BRIDGE WENT TO NEARBY RESTAURANTS FOR BREAKFAST AND DINNER (BETTER VALUE FOR MONEY)

On arrival we were given allocated a double room rather than the twin which was booked. However, we were upgraded to a de-lux twin room for no extra cost. The location is great with just a 5 min walk to Tower Hill underground with fantastic views either accross to Tower Bridge or the wharf at the back. A lovely, spacious, modern hotel.
Not sure what we got for the "de-lux" twin room? The bathroom was quite small and in need of a little refurbishment. Pictures on wall of nuts and bolts etc were not particularly restful or soothing!

Perpetual problems with lift and breakfast capacity at peak times. had to wait ten minutes for a lift to go down to gtound floor. Reception staff tried to upsell a lot of extras when I booked in - I knew what I wanted and booked that through Eurobookings.

Helpful staff.
As noted above. The range of toiletaries in the bathrooms has practically disappeared. Queues for breakfast encourage one to go outside the hotel - its been like this for several years.

The hotel is known to me, is one of the best in London. At night when I arrived but have not recognized the reservation and had had to wait about 15 minutes because someone took a decision. Only the next day he apologized, saying that it accepted the vs. reservation. At check-in the evening for safety "they" I have however made the swipe card to guarantee the total amount.

We had a most pleasent stay at The Tower. The staff were most helpful and pleasent. The room was most delightful.

We had booked a party of 8 people into your hotel, as we all had an appointment at the Excel boat show in the late afternoon before we arrived. We sat around chatting, waiting for everyone to gather, finally we all went into your carvery at around 21.45pm for a meal, and were made most welcome.
