The Tower Hotel, London

Updated reception but long queues for check in and not many staff. Room was not very clean and had very old furniture (including the bed!)

Very dissapointed. Having lived near the hotel, I always presumed it would be a great experience staying there. The room was designated 'de-lux', but was not as good a quality as hotels I would conside 'cheap and cheerful'. The room was small, the bathroom tiny and 'tired', and I found nothing I would consider 'De-Lux' or even comfortable.

The room service was very disappointing, the chips were too brown, you would like they were about 3 hours ago. No quality in the food, what so ever. The bathroom tube, kept blocking up with water

Rather surprising to have to queue for 5 minutes in order to check in - surely the first point of contact creates a strong impression. Desk staff very helpful and efficient. Room very adequate but no shower cap, only 1 bath robe and only 1 tooth glass. Air conditioning not very efficient.

Perfect location with all the restaurants on the other side of the bridge. Extremely tedious check in procedure "The system is down..." Room Ok with a very good view of the river

Excellent service would definately stay again.

The view from our room was lovely ......unfortunately we had to sleep with socks on as we were so cold .....we asked room service to alter the air conditioning for us which they attemped to but it was very cold all during our stay.

I had to get 3 people involved to restore power to the room (fuse had blown) and it took 1.25 hours.

Perfect location and good weekend rates. Serviceminded staff
