We loved the peace,tranquility and comfort at The Rookery.The little garden at the back of the hotel was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out there.
We would have liked a bigger bed in our room.

Nothing is ever perfect but in its own quirky way the Rookery Comes close. This is the third time I have stayed here and it will not be the last.

Breakfast and the Rooms, the staff and the decor.
The air con in my last room was nearly as old as the furniture but not as comfortable.

Main reason for choosing The Rookery Hotel: Location

We selected the Rookery mainly for its location to our Saturday evening function. The description of the Hotels' rooms and its historical links to that part of London was very interesting which appealed to us when selecting. This feeling of expectation was further added too on eventually finding its location by our Taxi driver and the thought/research the Architect/interior designer loving applied to the building.

The cleanliness overall of the public areas and our room was first class. The reception staff were always on hand to provide us with any requests for information relating to our stay in London. We did not experience the breakfast facilities of the hotel as we had a busy program of events during our stay. Upon arriving at 21.30 we were offered a complimentary tea or coffee by the reception staff which allowed us to feel very much et ease with our surroundings.
The shower in our room, which was difficult to obtain a comfortable temperature as the hot/cold taps was quite a distance from the shower area.
