InterContinental Lisbon, an IHG Hotel

Everything was very good except the staff attention when we ask them for late check out on Sunday and they rejected this service. The hotel did not allow us even to use the fitness showers to have a quick shower and change before flying.

The sheet turndown lady at the end of the afternoon knocked and entered without giving me chance to reply as I was coming out of the shower, which was embaressing. On the last morning I was in a conference, so I left some things in my room to pick up later before the 12pm check out I left the do not disturb sign on my door. When I returned at 11am my door was open with my personal belongings in view with a maid making up my room, telling me I had forgotten things in the room. I explained that I had not forgotten anything as I had not checked out and had asked for the room to be left until I checked out. She took some convincing and went and spoke to her supervisor, she removed the sheets and left.

The hotel is very nice, comfortable, clean and location is wonderful.
