The rooms require updating, the heating couldn't be turned down so the rooms were stifling, the air conditioning didn't work and dripped all night and there was only one tv channel.

We were there for the country fest which was a great eventt

Staff were not helpful and especially kitchen staff at morning brekfast was not a good experience

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to have an indoor pool that we could enjoy anytime we wanted and the breakfast which was included in the price was great. The food in the restaurant was lovely also.

The lighting in the rooms was poor that would be the only negative point but we managed for the short time we where there.

Staff were very friendly and generally helpful. Barfood was altered to suit our order and we appreciated that.

There was a wedding on when I booked in. I commented to the receptionist that I hoped I wouldnt be awake all night with noise. she said that I was on the second floor and should be fine. When I went to bed that night there was dreadful music on directly below. There couldnt have been a bedroom in between the function /bar area and my room as I could hear every single word the "singer" was saying and "singing". When I tried to call reception to see what time it would finish the phone did not work. There were boyracers driving like loonatics up and down the road til about 1.30am and I would have liked the reception to phone the gardai to get them to move on. I had asked for an early breakfast and was informed that the dining room would be open from 7.30. There were a number of us waiting in the hall til 7.50 when they eventually opened the breakfast. I only wanted a cereal breakfast and even if the hot food was not ready they should have opened the room for starting to eat. There were more people anxious because they were also running late due to the delayed start. I didnt not express my disapointment on check out as I didnt have time because of the delay. Also the power in the shower was super but there was no thermostatic control working and it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. YOu couldnt use it and had to bath instead. My friend in the next room was roasting even with the heater turned off while I woke up cold a number of times through the night. She couldnt believe the difference in temperatures in the rooms. The alarm clock didnt work and the bedside light didnt work either. There was a light dust on many surfaces otherwise it was very clean. There doesnt seem to be a designated smoking area either so you have to come through a cloud of smoke while people stand at the front door of the hotel and the whole reception area smells of smoke when you are going up to the bedrooms.

Good car parking area, evening meal in resturant very good and good selection for breakfast.

Windows in room 116 need double glazed units replaced as many other windows throughout the hotel, musty smell in corridor of bedrooms and in bathroom.
