Mijn verblijf in Rembrandt City Hotel Leiden was voor mij een bijzonder aangename kennismaking. Alles was prima in orde en... ik maak van jullie hotel mijn vaste pleisterplaats telkens ik naar Leiden kom (en dat is geen loze belofte want ik zal in de toekomst telkens 1 à 3 keer per jaar in Leiden zijn).

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!

The location was excellent as we could walk to and from wherever we wanted to go and a short distance to the train station even with our suitcases in tow!
The food in the Restaurant was not appealing and very expensive. The breakfast fare did not cater to Canadians and was not worth $12.50 Euros/person. Coffee was not free and we were charged for breakfast on the last morning as they said it was standard to do that even though the restaurant was not open at 4:30 AM when we left for the station to catch a flight to Germany. I did receive compensation for that after informing Eurobookings of this charge.The hotel was prompt in taking care of this.

The people at the hotel were wonderful, and helpful. The location could not have been better, close to everything.
My only comment is that the elevator is very small.

Excellent hotel in a vague area. Loss was a free internet connection.
Clean room and clean bathroom
The hotel is between the number of coffee shops which gives a little less safe idea.
