Excellent location in the heart of Holland, with tasteful and highly original room decor (room 11 has a maritime theme). Locally, the Nieuw Minerva sits on a quaint canal sandwiched between Leiden's two main shopping streets and is reachable by foot from two historic windmills, many excellent museums and the Leiden Centraal train station, which is only 15 minutes from Schiphol airport.
