It was our first time to La Rochelle and we could not have selected a better place to stay. Great location, away from most of the busy area, yet close to enjoy.

The stay was delightful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spot and very convenient for the harbour and streets of the old town - whilst being far enough away to be relatively quiet during the Festival. Nice rooms at the price and everything we needed. Liked it so much we booked in another night on our journey home

We enjoyed the good location of the hotel near the old port, the rooms were comfortable and modern. It was very useful to be able to park our car in the hotel carpark. The breakfast room was bright and there was a good selection for breakfast.

The location of the old town, near the harbor and the many outdoor restaurants. The staff was helpful. The hotel was clean and modern, was located in a quiet environment. Good breakfast. Tours often return to Saint Nicolas.
