It is a beautiful hotel and the staff is extremely professional and the breakfast lounge very comfortable. The gym, heated pool and steam room are more significant when the weather is average.

The quiet elegance of the place, great airlock decompression.

L'Hermitage and the resort of La Baule are, (as they say in adverts for certain French products)... "Reassuringly Expensive" ! Both the hotel and L'Eden Beach Brasserie are high quality establishments, in a fantastic location, with all the bells and whistles. It is not the place to go if you are looking for a cheap deal! The food and service in the Brasserie were excellent. Only down points really were the view from our room - which was not directly facing the sea, (more side-on), seperate M/F saunas, treatments etc., and the distinct lack of taxis in La Baule itself. We will certainly be going again.
