Comfortable stay. Good breakfasts, friendly staff. Quoted £259 for two nights bed and breakfast but after visiting the internet once more we found that we could have got it at a cheaper rate. In the end we got 3 nights 1 at £109 and 2 nights at £79. If we had booked with Super Break.com we could have got 3 nights for £138 for two people sharing a double room so we shall be very careful next time who we book with. Our family has moved recently to Kingston so it is likely that we shall bein the area quite frequently.

Kingston Lodge staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Its a 5 minute ride on the bus into kingston town centre which was perfect. In terms of decor, it is alittle outdated and the carpets could use professional shampooing or be changed altogether... The ambience was cosy and comfortable and the staff's smiling faces more than made up for the lack of decor. There is a beautiful courtyard which is great in summer weather. Also some rooms overlook the courtyard which is really nice during the day.

We were not at all impressed with having to pay extra for the breakfast - what a rip off! (Your hotel could do with taking a leaf out of fellow hoteliers in the vicinity, i.e. the Heathrow Sheraton who provide much better value for money). The bar staf were annoyingly absent when we wished to be served and the bar appeared to be badly stocked with basic commodities being unavailable.

Our room 227 had a thredbear Carpet and also a heavely stained armchair in the room plus a difficult remote control for the TV as the battery compartment was loose and had to be gripped hard to operate
