This is the way to fly from Gatwick with the minimum of stress ! You pay very little for a night's sleep and a ride to and from the terminal. Quaint old place though it is - and some details are a bit funky - I'll certainly be back for more of the same !

Cleanliness. Flexibility - when I arrived they just gave me a bigger room to accomodate my kids better with no extra charge. Much appreciated.

We only stayed overnight so did not have time to realy sample the facilities.

The bed was rather hard and inclined to the centre.

Exceptional VFM + the location was perfect for me

Bed was very soft ; some decor could do with updating BUT overall very good VFM - would definitely stay there again

The bar and restaurant areas were very presentable.

The reception area had an odour of dampness upon entering, wallpaper was hanging from the wall as due to it, with water stains on the ceiling. The room we stayed in had a similar odour and found the double bed very uncomfortable. 'Last Orders' were called at the bar at 22.30 prompt. As a resident, I expected the bar to remain open whilst ever there was a demand. I found the accomodation to be poor overall, and poor value.
