Nothing, but hard to find the way to drive into the hotel parking lot. Not very well signed.

The situation and the way the building has been restored are stunning. We were given the option to pay extra for a room with a view of the bay which we took up & thought well worth the extra money in spite of the rooms being rather pricey to begin with.

We found it rather difficult to understand why there is no restaurant. There appears to be plenty of room to accommodate this facility which would greatly enhance the Parador. Having stayed in other Paradors & found the food imaginative and of a good standard we feel that Hondarribia are missing a golden opportunity.

Beautiful Parador in wonderful location, with stunning views from the Terrace. Its a shame they don't offer Dinner, particularly when the breakfast was so lovely, but there is a reasonable choice of restaurants close by

You need to be fit to carry cases up from the car park! We were given a room on the 2nd floor and not told of any lift up to it and so struggled up the stairs with our cases, with no offer of help from reception. Then discovered the lift later, so suggest you ask to be shown it when checking in!

1.) The breakfast arrangements. There were only four other guests present in the room when we came down for breakfast. Yet when ordering our coffee it took about twenty minutes before a member of staff could be persuaded out of the kitchen by my wife who fortunately speaks Spanish. By the time the coffee had arrived we had almost finished our breakfast. A very poor performance, particularly when our bed and breakfast was costing us 220 euros. 2) The car park. Difficult to get into and exit when driving an MPV (Ford Galaxy). Also lot of steps to climb to get to the hotel. Not easy for us carrying luggage and if one was frail or elderly it might have been impossible. We were charged about 10 euros for the use of this car park which given the cost of the bed and breakfast seems a quite unnecessary extra. 3) When one stays at an establishment charging 220 euros for a double room for bed and breakfast, one expects very much better facilities than this.

Quiet setting

No restaurant and it was difficult to find one in town!

One night in an old fort and restored as beautiful as this one has been a real joy, the sight is magnificent.

Parking at 14 euros a night is a bit of a racket in my goût.Possibilité to park more cons down, do not hesitate!
