Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Heiloo

Mooi hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Ruime kamer.

The hotel area, reception and hall and restaurant were fine. personnel very helpful - also the in the restaurant, taking initiave to offer me an alternative meal on the second day - being a vegetarian, thank you very much (only one veggie choise on the menu)

The room, No. 11, booked on the internet!? - was either ice-cold og very hot! and draughty! the curtains were blowing into the room - of course the first night was a stormy one, but still... and also on my second night - besides there was about 2 cm's gab under the door to the hallway!!! also very noisy, people running on the stairs, and in the hall... I was not there for fun, but for resting in the evening and night, on the 2nd night I only slept for 2 hours, because of a wedding party - bless them. But I am sure that there might be rooms upstairs and away from the 'transiting' halls, so I might recommend to others under this condition

Clean spacious room.

Free use of bicycles - join in the Dutch preference for transport. OK if you are not planning on going too far. Free Internet/email. Staff pleasant and helpful. New STEAM iron and ironing board. Quiet. Good breakfast.

Dated, basic two storyed motel-type building. The only hotel in the village. No lift. No-one to carry my bags upstairs. Apprentice chef came to my rescue. No detailed map of Heiloo, the village I had come specifically to see, though maps for other villages freely supplied. I would recommend it with caution.

Reception was very friendly and a team player. And despite a crowded restaurant (feast) did you would not, in the rooms.

Quiet room. Comfortable beds. Excellent bathroom. Friendly staff. Good location off main road. Towels and bedding changed during a 4 night stay

I thought the breakfast was expensive for what was available - items running out or rather dried up.
