Have been there more often. Hotel is excellent with proper / friendly staff. Food is excellent. Only seven minutes from the terminal (taxi). Back regulates the caretaker within 5 minutes by taxi

Considering the sole purpose of the hotel is to accomodate overnighters from Heathrow then i find it incredible that breakfast only starts at 07.00! How many guests have flights from 08.00 to 09.00 and therefore have no chance to take breakfast? Many i would assume as if you had later flights a hotel stay would likely be unnecessary! I recently stayed in the Marriot in Newcastle(Gosforth Park) and breakfast started at 06.30, so why not at Heathrow? Furthermore the staff in Newcastle were light years ahead of Heathrow Marriot in terms of customer service!This added to the fact the only bar in the hotel was closed led to a less than satisfactory experience. Furthermore the 3 concierges managed to leave me standing outside waiting for a taxi to Heathrow at minus 8 celcius for 10 minutes while the driver of my car waited 10 minutes inside for me to appear! Still, they looked like they enjoyed there conversation!
