Hotel Macià Real de La Alhambra

Almost everything is good except the service and hospitality.

Unfortunately the service and staff are not qualified. The restaurant is supposed to be open all night only offers cold kitchen is closed because contrary to what is displayed in the rooms. The breakfast room service does not work and the kitchen staff speak only Spanish is therefore impossible to understand. Only the maids are friendly and efficient. We are given a ticket upon arrival to the parking supposed to work for the duration of stay but it never works. At each passage, we must return to the reception. At the reception, the welcome is just lovely! A hotel that would be great if the perdsonnel was at the height and closer to the customer. Moreover, it is very well placed.

Beautiful new hotel with spacious rooms with nice bathroom. Mini fridge and free internet and fast. The kettle is missing and TV5 Monde is on the program but not on the TV despite the intervention of a friendly staff. Location good, very close to the Alhambra and the city center. There is a bus service, but it seems better to have his own car, the hotel is a bit eccentric. Buffet breakfast quality, however, which deserves to be renewed for stays of a week! Parking quite expensive and impractical at 9 € a day, but not essential. Restoration rather expensive but there are close to the small traditional restaurants very pleasant (the Penon de San Francisco and neighbors). Hotel offers excellent value for money (internet price) to advise without hesitation.

Opening times for the swimming pool (in the evening, the pool could be used only until 20:30). I felt inadequate. After a long day of sightseeing, I would have expected that by 10:00 in the evening I can still use the pool. Since the pool could not be used longer in the evening, booking a hotel with pool in retrospect, has seen no point made.
