Room was great, although quite a bit more expensive in June than it was last time I stayed there in May. All of the staff spoke at least some english, so fairly easy to communicate with them. They have a decent restaurant there that provides a big buffet breakfast at dinners are reasonably priced. The desk staff also explained how I could take a Terravision bus into the Rome Termini, and then a short hop via Metro to the Coliseum. That was about 14 euro round trip.
Nothing about the hotel, but a taxi driver that I thought was taking to a metered taxi, took my bag and put me in his car. The Best Western is less than 5 miles from FCO and he charged me 50 euro (about $70). Be sure to get a metered taxi or arrange for the Best Western shuttle (7 euro) although it may be hard to find)

We stayed only one night, but it was pleasant. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food.
Dining room pricing was high.

Friendly service (provided me with some toiletries that I had forgotten to take with me); very good breakfast; I had dinner at the hotel, which was fine meal;
Poor lighting in room, which is typical of most hotels (e.g. unable to easily read in hotel room); no supports in shower, which is a safety-minus, especially for elderly people like myself

Location and clealiness
Very small room . the bed queen or king was a double matresses , i mean two twins put together and we did not like that because we requested for a queen.

Wow, our newly furbished room was sensational. Close to airport for our early departure, new restaurant was great, We had been in Italy for the month and this was the first hotel which had a toaster. No air noise during the night, which made me panic, thinking there must be a strike, or fog, but clearly not a lot of night flights into Rome.
Nothing it was perfect.

The proximity to the airport.
The shuttle service from the airport was not clear and quite confusing. Even after asking for info a information booth, the staff on duty were not able to help with clear, precise instructions on how we could get the shuttle to the airport. We had to find another way to get there.

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!
