Faithlegg Hotel

I stayed with my daughter in a Master Room. She was looking forward to a four poster bed but it was just an ordinary bed and reception seemed quite dismissive. I thought the hotel was very expensive for those not playing golf and breakfast was mediocre compared to most hotels I have stayed. Internet didn't work in the reading room so I had to go into town. Also, we were woken at 9am on Sunday morning with very loud Beatles music playing. I thought it was from another room and didn't want to complain. Eventually at 10am, I decided to phone and found it was piped music. Not the most relaxing stay overall. Bernadette McNally McNally & Associates

The room was excellent but the location next door to a noisy wedding seemed puzzling. The hotel itself is shabby and the restaurant is overpriced and not great. The overall experience is that it was overpriced and not a great experience for the money spent. The front of the hotel is shabby and the smoking area ie stand outside in the rain - was also very unsatisfactory. I was disappointed as I have connections in the area and long wanted to stay at Faithlegg. I would not stay there or eat in the restaurant again.

As always staying at Faithlegg House is a pleasant experience, and in all my visits over the past number of years I have yet to be disappointed and my visit over 31/12 and 1/1 / 09 was no exception.

Really enjoyed our stay in Faithlegg House Hotel. Had lovely large rooms with beautiful views overlooking gardens and river. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Also, had a delicious meal in the restaurant on our first night. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
