We chose this hotel as it was very close to the road we were travelling on our long journey and it had a restaurant on site so when arriving after a very long drive we could get something to eat then sleep.
We were told on arrival the restaurant was closed no explanation and no help in telling us were we could find a meal so we had to drive round a very confusing town only to find most places closed and very little on offer as regards restaurants. Breakfast very poor very little on offer and the staff just stood talking at the desk and guests had to keep going and asking for even basic things such as plates to be put out and food as they did not replenish when dishes were empty. Very dissapointing and unwelcomong

Good location and reasonable price
When I arrived on my way down through France, they did not know if there would be a chef that night, but he did turn up. On my way back, after a long days' drive on a Saturday, I arrived to be told the restaurant was not open at weekends, and I had to drive out to find one,something I found unusual.

Clean room with tea making facilities. Excellent staff, very helpful. Great for an overnight stop because just off the motorway.

Impeccable room, breakfast, teas in the room.
Lack air conditioning or ventilation in the rooms as hard to sleep with the window open because of the proximity of the double track.

All the staff were welcoming. The hostess tray in the room. The option of hot breakfast. The delicious croissants. The wide choice of breakfast food. The economical and very good dinner. The comfortable bed. The ease of finding the hotel just off the motorway. The lack of motorway noise during the night. Easy parking with sight of our car from our bedroom.
The shower hose was badly adjusted. The hot breakfast was made from what tasted like dried egg. There was only two milk sachets on the hostess tray and we needed four.
