I was surprized by the standard of the motel for the price I paid and its location to shops
The only problem I had was at check out when I was informed of a 50 Euro charge for parking as I was not informed at check in there was a fee for parking. I was only told once I got my ticket to bring it to reception to get ticket validated so I assumed that once validated there was no charge.

I liked very much the enormous helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much. It was really "out of the box" as I told also the reception person.
I Liked also the good food and special the great breakfast.
Also the hotel was situated in the centre of the city.
I did not like the special reading chair, because that was old!!! and very uncomfortable. (the sitting area was sunken in) But as I said: Nothing was too much, so when I complained about this chair, after breakfast straight away there was another chair available in my room.

Mooi hotel met vele faciliteiten. Mooie kamers. Prima ligging.
De rekening van het parkeren en de prijs van het ontbijt vond ik belachelijk hoog.

The hotel looks great, the housekeeping really does their best to get everything in tip-top order.
The stay was during the carnival, the first night we came back and 4:50 hours to 08:15 am they started drilling in the hotel (on a Saturday). I have called on then to the reception but it could not find anything and was told they were working to build a stand for the parade but this happened in front of the hotel at the main entrance. Our room was on the back (room 121). To another staff member to have it addressed, and none has confirmed that it was a very loud noise, we gave up. Unfortunately, we have the first night only 3.5 hours sleep.
