Hilton Dublin Kilmainham

We thought the staff was not service minded at all. The AC did not work. It was very hot in the room and we couldnt open any windows. We complained twice, but the AC wasn't repaired and the staff did not explain to us why not. The valve for the temperature of the bath was broken, we told reception, but it was not repaired, so we couldn't take a bath. On Saturday our room was only cleaned at 4 pm.

When we arrived we had booked a cot for our room. This was not in place in either of the rooms we were put in to. The first room 137 was not even cleaned when we got into it. we rang reception and they moved us to 237. This room smelled like someone had been smoking in it and the container for holding tea bags was burnt like an ash tray. When we checked out the gentleman on the reception desk - the same man who moved us from room 137 to 237 did not even ask how our stay was, let alone bring us a key for the room as he said he would the night before.

Enjoyed my stay very much, thought room was excellent, however it was very hot and the air conditioning was not working. We complained of this before we went out for the night, but there was no improvement on our return.
