Harcourt Hotel

La localización, tan cerca de St Stephan Green! es fantástico. También el tamaño de la habitación, muy grande y cómoda. Tuve mucha suerte porque conseguí un buen precio, pero normalmente puede ser bastante caro.

Convenience in location to major restaurants and tourist sites.

The noise level was intolerable. At the front of the hotel is the clanging tram right under the window as well as pub-goers carousing at the top of their lungs in the early hours of the morning. At the back of the hotel is the bedlam of the hotel's night club. On the last night of our stay, an intoxicated person was ranting in the hall outside our room and then collapsed against the door, nearly crashing it in. A loud verbal argument ensued with another guest. Although we called the desk to alert the hotel, nothing was done. We felt unsafe in the room, and we didn't sleep well any of the three nights we stayed. We canceled a fourth night and stayed elsewhere. Rooms were tiny, dark, cramped, and loud.

The young gentleman on duty @ reception was excellant, very helpful, very informative, very friendly, a chap who loves his job and is a breath of fresh air. Helpful& pleasant through out the stay.

In the Italian restaurant, staff hovering next to the table all during my meal was very off putting and encroached on the enjoyment of dinner. The noise, what a pity to have to pay for a room and not be able to sleep, and the earplugs that were provided were of no use. If I were to recommend the hotel I'm afraid I would have to tell people not to stay in room 109 or any room @ that side of the building. Sorry

The front desk staff were very pleasant and charming.

In my initial websearch i asked for hotels close to the beaumont hospital and this came up. It is 35 mins drive at least. So that is misleading. Its location, while close to town and some of the main attractions, doesn't do it any justice as it's in a very noisy part of town. I was still awake at 5am on a friday morning. There is no airconditioning so the room was sweltering and due to noise, couldnt open the window. Apart from that it is very basic.

Yes! The noise. Either its a nightclub or a hotel but i don't see how it should be both. The noise is terrible.

Comfortable room, effiient friendly service. Recommended.
