The bed was fabulous, the best night's sleep we've had for many a while. Excellent communication with Reception staff when reserving a parking space
We booked a 'Decadent' Suite. Felt it was overpriced by about £20-£30 in relation to room size and lack of bath

Based on 2 night only stay - accommodation very comfortable, staff most obliging and food of very high quality. Proximity to many places of interest made location of this hotel ideal.
Limited car parking facilities only cause for adverse comment.

Recently refurbished to a very high level. Staff were really excellent and were all very friendly and helpful, a real asset. Not only did they allow our dogs but were very dog friendly. We will visit again!!!
You must book if you need a car park space!

I did not like not being able to apply for a refund of our payment. We were unable to travel or use the room because my wife had a medical emergency. Six days before our trip we learned that she required surgery for bladder cancer. My grandson used the room to avoid it being a total loss. All other hotels on our schedule returned our total costs, even though their reservations, too, were "nonrefundable".

We were very comfortable in room 50. We were very surprised that only two GLUTEN FREE rolls were provided for
breakfast...... which cost 10 GBP!!! We had to provide our own GLUTEN FREE Musli....!
My daughter and I had a double twin-bedded room in the main part of the hotel - the oldest part (Room 50) and
were very comfortable. Everything was very clean and functionable. My son with wife, and nephew with wife, were in
the more 'modern' part of the hotel where everything was looking very 'tired' and apparently the shower produced a drizzle of water.....!!!!! They were more than disappointed. Yes, I would only recommend the hotel if one is put in the old section and not the rooms at the back.

Really friendly staff. Lovely comfortable bed.
A bit too warm in the room.
