Main reason for choosing Clayton Hotel Cork City: Location

The location was very convenient to the bus terminal as we did our sightseeing by bus. We were not on a tour. The front desk staff was most helpful with our many questions as to where to go and how to get there.

Beautiful lobby with atrium....every staff member was friendly and accomodating...nothing was too much trouble for them...upgrade to room with balcony due to barely noticeable delay at check in...top class meal for 9 of us in augustines restaurant followed by killer long island iced tea's made expertly in the bar! stayed over while in town for live concert at marquee...would definitely stay here again when in cork
Could not find fault with anything to be honest...

We stopped off here on a Friday night to go to a gig in the Marquee which was close by.We went for a swim in the pool that evening and the next morning, pool was lovely and spotless. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel due to the package we got. The room was lovely brand new and had a balcony room looking over the river. Would recommend it at the right price.

We had alovely relaxing one night stay at your hotel. We could;nt find fault with anything as the staff were so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was the nicest we;ve had in any hotel in Ireland. We will be back.

It is a lovely bright and clean and spacious hotel.

I have stayed at the Clarion hotel on 2 occasions this year and expect to stay many times in the coming months for business purposes. It is wonderful to have conference and meeting facilities of such a good standard available in Cork City.

I love the convenience of being able to fly into Cork the night before a meting and being able to attend the meeting within the hotel. I loved having wireless internet access available in the meeting rooms. Staff are always friendly and efficient.
I was disappointed that I could not access the Internet from my room. It appeared that somebody had damaged the socket. I woke at 5.30am and spent 40 minutes trying to access the Internet. It is not possible to access the wireless network from bedrooms. If you a hotel that caters to business people you should check internet connections in rooms or look to providing wireless access otherwise one of your major selling points falls down.
