We loved the 'Wow' factor of this themed hotel: a sense of fun combined with brilliant design, pristine cleanliness, real comfort in the room and a very high standard of finish in all the bathroom and bedroom fittings. We loved the sparkly finish in the bathroom and power shower wetroom. Everything was well thought out and the top quality coffee machine and big comfortable bed with beautiful quality bedding were much appreciated. The breakfast room had bright zingy colours and lovely table linen.
There are many beautiful places to visit within a few miles of the hotel.
There was nothing we really disliked about this hotel, but our sat nav was very useful in finding it, as the road from the motorway doubles back on itself.
We would have liked the 'free' coffee pods replaced on our second day.
We ate dinner in 'La Boucherie' next door and found the cow theme rather distasteful. We hated having the bill presented in a marrow bone and had a much better meal in old Colmar on our second evening.

The prestige of the hotel for a 3 star because I found it very beautiful and refined with every little detail there was. The theme of the Sun King was very modern version agréable.Le breakfast buffet was very good although there may be may be a little more variety but it was very use.The staff was very polite and smiling was nice. The room was fine and warm, and the color in the mural above the bed was superb, the bathroom is very good and also separate toilet.
The fact that the room was very dusty but I think it is because of their furniture and fairly static material. The smell of the towels that had its own there is no problem but with a smell of products.
