I have stayed at Albergo Roma twice before. First time was in 1985 the next time was 1996. Since then the hotel has had a face lift and become more 21st century. The breakfast bar was very good and service there was fast.
The mattress on our double bed was a little hard and the pillows are too flat.

This hotel was a delight to stay at. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were bright and clean. All inclusive breakfast was delicious and the dining room staff outstanding. We were a group of 5 and somehow when the first 3 walked through the dining room door, they were already preparing a table for 5. Free internet in rooms and in the lobby. We had trouble with the keyboards in the room but no problems in the lobby. Even printing was free! Would absolutely stay there again. Location is perfect, outside the ancient old walls and beside the Tue/Fri outdoor market.
