The proximity to a pub. Could walk to it and reasonably priced. Very good rate for a one night stay
It was quite a noisy place to stay. Not very good insulation between floors. Groups of young people staying who came in rather noisily between 2am and 3am. Would have liked at least one easy chair in the room. No where comfortable to sit to watch television

A member of staff came to "check" our rooms shortly after we had checked in and disturbed both myself and my colleague trying to have a nap in the middle of the afternoon after our long drive. Reception staff did not know that our booking included breakfast.

It was a nice hotel, comfortable for the length of our stay (one night). Good value for money.
The inclusive breakfast was a little chaotic as food ran out and it was a little wait for the next serving (not very long though). Little table space and generally food was okays'.

Brilliant size of room for an economy hotel. good dimensions in the bathroom etc.
staff were friendly and helpful.
Very slow emptying of the shower and hand basin (room 314). The extractor fan in the bathroom did not appear to work. get this sorted and you will get recommended.
it would be nice to have a small fridge in the bedroom but never mind, this is a budget place.

Hotel was fine but breakfast was not. Too many people arriving at once and no one to replenish the self service bar meant when my wife and I arrived there was no fruit salad, no croisants and no orange juice ... and not much prospect of getting any of them without a long wait. Got my money back. and went elsewhere. Alan Grainger
