Helpfulness of the staff: they were terrific!

The receptionist when we arrived was very polite and helpful, the bedding was spotless
The first room we were given stank of cigarette smoke when we had booked a non smoking room, we were given another room which smelt slightly better but the room was very dirty large stains on the carpet the toilet seat was split I dont know if the cleaner had been trained but they should of been taught to sweep behind doors the dust was very thick all in all possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, we had booked breakfast but decided against it due to the cleanliness of the rooms, we wondered what the kitchen would be like the male receptionist when we booked out did not even have the manners to say goodbye all in all a very sad little hotel.
