The overall stay was first class, nice hotel and facilities, great location in Nth London
My room was fine but others in our group had rooms with non functioning air conditioning which in the 21st century shouldn't happen

The staff were polite and helpful and very professional. The facilities were excellent. I was surprised at the size of the pool. The little touches such as the range of hot and cold drinks available during the conference and the hot food provided at lunch were also very good.
I have no criticism of the hotel. I would warn those arriving at Elstree station after 8.15am should be aware that the traffic is heavy and I did wonder if I was going to be late for my 9am start at the hotel. Luckily I wasn't but I was sat in traffic a while.

Lovely staff, especially the lady with the blonde hair in the breakfast room.
Very comfortable and quiet room, with great pillows.
Only the supper delivered to our room, it had a strange metallic taste to it, but we were both too tired to send it back - this won't stop us from staying at the hotel in future as breakfast, by contrast, was really tasty.

Very comfortable well appointed room.
Sadly the hotel is best described as a Community Leisure Centre with rooms. The hotel was full and at breakfast we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The waiting staff worked very hard but they were obviously understaffed for the number guests waiting to be served.

Resturant food was really good and value for money, the breakfast we had was also well presented and staff attentive to seeing that it was topped up as guests arrived
We paid for breakfast two mornings, on the second morning we had to leave at 6-30 am and unable to get anything from anywhere. The duty manager gave me a letter so I could at least give my son a voucher so he and his wife could have the breakfast we had paid for, but you could not supply at the times I had available. She did provide a letter saying so, however added a clause saying they had to book a nights stay..........why should this be when it was already paid for
